Kulgam: A militant belonging to proscribed outfit Jaish e Mohammad has been killed in an encounter in Mirama area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir on Saturday.

Officials said that the killed militant is  a Pakistani.

Earlier gunfight ensued between security forces and holed up militants in the area following a specific input about there presence, sources said.
