British PM Boris Jhonson indicates Visa flexibility to India, says ‘always in favor of talented people coming to his country’

New Delhi: Signaling Britian was ready to offer more visas to India British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday told reporters that they are short to the tune of hundreds of thousands of people in their economy.

“We are short to the tune of hundreds of thousands of people in our economy and we need to have a progressive approach and we will,” Jhonson told reporters, as quoted by Reuters.

According to report the flexibility offered to India in return for a free-trade deal after Britain’s exit from the European Union.

Jhonson said that he has always been in favour of talented people coming to this country.

The British premier is visiting India and is visiting Ahmedabad where he will meet business leaders to discuss thriving commercial, trade and people links between the two countries.

The report says that Jhonson while speaking to reporters on the plane on his way to India, indicated that he was ready to be more accommodating on issues that could stall the post-Brexit deal with India.
