Doda: A major strike was averted after detection of improvised explosive device (IED) by the security forces in the Ghat area of Doda district on late Wednesday evening, police

Police official told that soon after information of the suspicious material was received, police and CRPF rushed to the spot and sealed the area.

“On examination, it was found that an IED was there in a bag which was later on defused,” police said.

“We have launched investigation into the matter,” police further said.
