Militant involved in CRPF personnel’s killing killed in Beshember Nagar, another trapped: IGP

Srinagar, April 10 :  An unidentified militant was killed in a gunfight with joint team of police and CRPF in Beshembar Nagar of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.

Police said that the encounter started after a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Beshembar Nagar following inputs about militants presence.

“One of the (militants) involved in recent attack on CRPF Personnel, killed in Srinagar encounter and other is trapped. Encounter is going on,” IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said in a tweet.
