Srinagar, Mar 21: A civilian was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen suspected to be militants in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday evening, officials said.

A police officer said that the civilian identified as Tajamul Mohi-ud-Din Rather was fired upon by militants near his home at Gotpora Budgam this evening. He has been shifted to hospital and details regarding his conditions are awaited, sources said. Emerging story. Further details awaited.
