Civilian fired upon in Gotpora Budgam succumbs to injuries

Srinagar, Mar 21: A civilian who shot at and injured by unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday evening succumbed to injuries, officials said.

A police officer said that the civilian identified as Tajamul Mohi-ud-Din Rather was fired upon by militants near his home at Gotpora Budgam this evening. He was shifted to hospital but died before he could be admitted to hospital, sources said.
