35-Year-Old Man Repatriated By Pakistan At Cross LoC Point In Poonch

Poonch, March 17: One year and three months after crossing Line of Control inadvertently, a 35-year-old resident of Poonch returned home after being repatriated by the Pakistan on Thursday, officials said.

They said that the man, Mohammad Javed son of Nazir din of Heaveli Poonch, was handed over by the Pakistan authorities to Indian counterparts at Chakan-da-Bagh crossing point around noon.

SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra said the man had crossed over to Pakistan in December 2020.
