Police called it a case of a domestic incident, NDTV reported.

The report reads that all three children who died were under the age of 15.

Quoting Sergeant Rod Grassmann of Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, AFP said that at 5:07 this afternoon, they received a call that there was a shooting inside the church.

“We have found now there’s an adult male, a father who has shot and killed his three children under the age of 15,” he added.

“This is as far as I can see, at this point, a domestic violence-related sort of incident,” Grassmann said.
