Police Asks Landlords In Srinagar To Do Tenant Verification

Srinagar, Feb 10: Police on Thursday asked all those landlords in Srinagar who haven’t done tenant verification to do the same before giving any premises or room on rent.

“In view of recent spurt in incidents of theft, assault and other crimes, all those landlords in Srinagar who haven’t done tenant verification are adviced to do it before giving any premises/ room on rent,” police said in a tweet . “Responsibility may be fixed in case of any crime following non-compliance.”
