J&K Report 182 New Covid-19 Cases, One Death

Srinagar, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir reported 182 new covid-19 cases while as one person succumbed due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

33 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 149 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 338745.

There was one death reported from the Valley due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4491 persons—2189 in Jammu and 2302 in Kashmir—have died due to the virus, they said.

Giving district wise details of the fresh cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported 66 cases, Baramulla 20, Budgam 16, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 26, Anantnag 01, Bandipora 8, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 13, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 3, Doda 6, Kathua 1, Samba 1, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 2, Ramban 2 and Reasi 2.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include female (72) (NA) from Chadoora, male (34) (NA) from Qamarwari, male (75) (NA) from Qamarwari, male (32) (NA) from Rajbagh sgr, male (06) (NA) from Sgr, female (58) (NA) from Amirabad, female (60) (NA) from Laam, female (60) from Nowpora, male (29) (NA) from Malikpora pulwama, male (65) (NA) from Nasserpora kellar, male (22) (NA) from Mughalpora pulwama, female (55) (NA) from Fatehkadal Sgr and female (41) (NA) from Bagi mehtab Sgr.

Moreover, 204 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 37 from Jammu Division and 167 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 332659 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1695—418 in Jammu and 1177 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 58 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The officials also informed that 46542 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
