J&K Reports 158 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Nov 12: Jammu and Kashmir reported 158 fresh covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.

Among the fresh cases, 26 were reported from Jammu Division and 132 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 333825.

There was no death due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4448—2178 in Jammu and 2270 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details of the fresh cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported 73 cases, Baramulla 31, Budgam 6, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 9, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 13, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 4, Doda 3, Kathua 0, Samba 3, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 2.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (22) (NA) from Kupwara, male (55) (NA) from Baramulla, male (40) (NA) from Poonch, male (36) (NA) from Soura, female (70) (NA) from Budgam, male (49) (NA) from Bandipora, male (21) (NA) from Ellahibagh sgr, female (23) (NA) from Sgr, female (30) (NA) from Sgr, male (47) (NA) from Ganderbal, male (67) (NA) from Tanpora, female (54) (NA) from Lalbazar, female (65) (NA) from Khanmoh, female (44) (NA) from Rawalpora and male (48) (NA) from Humhama, male (71) (NA) from Jawahar nagarnagar.

Moreover, 105 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, eight from Jammu Division and 97 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 328013 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1364—191 in Jammu and 1173 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 100888 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
