As per a government order, there has been a delay in recording the Performance Appraisal Reports (PARs) at the level of concerned Reporting/Reviewing/Accepting Authorities, “which has been viewed seriously by the authorities.”

The Department of Personnel and Trainings, Government of India on June 16 has fixed timelines for filing online PARs in respect of the All India Service Officers on the SPARROW Portal.

For Self appraisal for current year, the deadline was 31st August; Appraisal by Reporting Authority: 30th September;  Appraisal by Reviewing Authority: November 15 and Appraisal by Accepting Authority: 31st December, 2021

“However, it has been observed that a good number of IAS Officers working in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, have not submitted their self appraisals for the year assessment year 2020-21, resulting in delay in recording the PARs at the level of concerned Reporting/Reviewing/Accepting Authorities, which has been viewed seriously by the authorities,” the order , reads.

Accordingly, the government asked all concerned to submit their Self Appraisals immediately without any further delay. “Failing which their PAR for the assessment year 2020-21 shall be force forwarded to the concerned Reporting Authorities, without further notice,” the order added.
