Jammu and Kashmir Reports 126 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Sep 07 : Jammu & Kashmir reported 126 new novel coronavirus cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

34 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 92 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 326159.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time. So far 4410—2166 in Jammu and 2244 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 46 cases, Baramulla 20, Budgam 13, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 6, Shopian 1, Jammu 4, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 2, Doda 7, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 16.

Moreover, they said, 148 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—25 from Jammu Division and 123 from the valley. So far, 320485 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1264— 251 in Jammu and 1013 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 45 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
