93 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 06 Jammu & Kashmir reported 93 new coronavirus cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

20 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 326033.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time. So far 4410—2166 in Jammu and 2244 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 41 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 9, Pulwama 7, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 2, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 1, Doda 12, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 3, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 7.

Moreover, they said, 129 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—45 from Jammu Division and 84 from the valley. So far, 320337 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1286— 242 in Jammu and 1055 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 45 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
