96 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death In J&K

Srinagar, Sep 03 : Jammu & Kashmir reported 96 new coronavirus cases even as there was no death due the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.

26 of the new cases were reported from Jammu Division and 70 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 325714.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time. So far 4409—2166 in Jammu and 2243 in Kashmir have succumbed as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 23 cases, Baramulla 0, Budgam 27, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 11, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 3, Doda 12, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 3, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

Moreover, they said, 36 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—33 from Jammu Division and 3 from the valley. So far, 319925 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1380— 266 in Jammu and 1114 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 45 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
