Mayid Rayan Warriors, SSCC Bemina emerge winners in JKPL Edition 1

Srinagar, July 24: In the ongoing J&K Premier League, two matches were played on Saturday.  The first match was played between Mayid Rayan Warriors and Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar Cricket Club. After winning the toss, Mayid Rayan Warriors choose to field first and Kashmir Harvard ZCC posted a total of 142 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Moomin Wani scored 33 of 28 balls which includes 2 sixes while Usaid scored 25 of 29 balls. For Mayid Rayan warriors Tahzeem Tak took 3 wickets. Mayid Rayan warriors achieved the target in 18th Over loosing 7 wickets in the process. Hinan Malik scored 61 of 43 balls not out and Rayees made 50 of just 21 balls which include 6 huge sixes. For Kashmir Harvard ZCC Usaid was pick of the bowlers and claimed  2 wickets. Hinan Malik for his outstanding performance was declared as Man of the Match.

The second match was played between SSCC Bemina and Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. SSCC Bemina won the toss and elected to bat. They posted a target of 149 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Gowhar Rashid  (44 of 25 balls) and Umer nisar (34 of 29 balls) were among the leading run scorers. For Shape up fitness Cricket Club Azhar  Ashraf took 2 wickets. Batting second Shape up fitness Cricket Club were bowled out for 94 runs. Muharram (23 of 33) and Azhar Ashraf (13 of 8) were top scorers for their team. Bilal Lone took 3 wickets for SSCC Bemina. Gowhar Rashid for his outstanding allround performance was adjudged as man of the match.
