88 New Covid-19 Cases, No Fresh Death In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, July 24: Jammu and Kashmir reported 88 new covid-19 cases even as there no was death due to the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

They said 33 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 55 from Kashmir Valley, taking the case tally to 320491.

Providing the district-wide details, they said, Srinagar reported 27 cases, Baramulla 0, Budgam 5, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 4, Shopian 1, Jammu 5, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 4, Doda 11, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 4, Poonch 1, Ramban 4 and Reasi 3.

So far 4374 people have succumbed to the virus in J&K.

Moreover, they said, 178 more COVID-19 patients in last 24 hours have recovered—69 from Jammu Division and 109 from Kashmir, taking the number of people who have recovered in J&K to 314798. With this, there are now 1319 active cases—528 in Jammu and 791 in Kashmir.

There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 35 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
