Jammu an Kashmir Reports 63 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, One Death

Srinagar, July 23: Jammu and Kashmir reported 63 new covid-19 cases while one more person succumbed to the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.
They said 33 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 53 from Kashmir Valley, taking the case tally to 320403.
Providing the district-wide details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 5 cases, Baramulla 1, Budgam 2, Pulwama 13, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 2, Shopian 1, Jammu 4, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 1, Doda 8, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 4, Poonch 1, Ramban 2 and Reasi 10.
A few of these cases were confirmed at the CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include male (48) from Nagbal, female (48) from Drabgam Pul, female (47) from Hawal, female (58) from Jawahar Nagar, male (21) from Shalimar, female (44) from Zakura and female (45) from Gasoo.
Regarding the death, they said, it was reported from Kashmir Valley, taking the fatality count to 4374.
Moreover, they said, 166 more COVID-19 patients in last 24 hours have recovered—82 from Jammu Division and 84 from Kashmir, taking the number of people who have recovered in J&K to 314620. With this, there are now 1409 active cases—564 in Jammu and 845 in Kashmir.
There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 35 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
