Poonch, July 23: An airplane-shaped balloon with ‘PIA’ written on it was found in Poonch district on Friday evening, officials said.

A police officer said the balloon was found at Baloni Mankote in Mendhar area of Poonch at around 8:45 p.m. He said that actually the balloon was spotted in his land by a villager who informed the police. Later a police team rushed to the area, the officer said.

On number of times the airplane-shaped balloon with PIA written on it has been found in Jammu region recently.

PIA stands for Pakistan International Airlines while the balloon was shaped exactly in the form of airplane with windows and doors painted on light blue and a white background. Previous balloons had windows and doors painted on green and white background.
