123 Covid-19 Cases, 1 Death Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, July 18: Jammu and Kashmir reported 123 new covid-19 cases while as one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.
They said that 51 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu division and 72 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 320024.
Regarding the death due to the virus, they said, it was reported from Kashmir Valley, taking the fatality count to 4365.
Providing the district-wide details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 33 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 2, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 8, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 8, Kulgam 3, Shopian 2, Jammu 17, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 9, Doda 15, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 2, Ramban 2 and Reasi 2.

The CD cases include two males (33, 75) and three females (60, 85, 30) from Hawal, female (56) from Amda Kadal, male (23) from Mandibal, male (25) from Barzulla, two females (68, 42) from Batmaloo and male (70) from Tangdhar Kupwara.
Moreover, they said, 268 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—93 from Jammu Division and 175 from Kashmir Valley. So far 313886 people have recovered while 4365 others have succumbed to the virus, leaving active cases at 1773 in J&K—754 in Jammu and 1019 in the Valley.
There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today and the cumulative number of confirmed cases remained at 34 in J&K, the officials added.
