J&K Premier League: Team Hooked, Nunnu Stars Emerge Winners

Srinagar, July 17: In the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League, two matches were played at Green Valley Educational Institute here on Saturday.
The first match was played between Team Hooked and Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. Winning the toss, Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club opted to bat first and posted a total of 164 runs in alloted 20 overs. Gowhar Rashid (66 of 32 balls), Bilal (34 of 25 balls) were among the top scorers for Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. For Team Hooked Tajamul,Riyaz,Touseef claimed 1 wicket each. In reply Team Hooked scored the target in 16th over. For Team Hooked Waseem Raza scored 69 of 28 balls and Tajamul Baba contributed 38 of 30 balls. For Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club Rameez Raja claimed 2 wickets. Waseem Raza for his outstanding performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The second game was played between Mayid Rayan Warriors and Nunnu Stars. Mayid Rayan Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first. They managed a total of 145 runs only. Yawar Bashir (43 of 33 balls) was among top run scorers for his team. For Nunnu Stars Irshad, Rouf Mir, Jamsheed took 2 wickets each. In reply Nunnu Stars chased the target in 18th over. Adil Sofi (65 of 48 balls) was the highest run scorer for his team. Imtiyaz claimed 2 wickets for Mayid Rayan Warriors. Adil Sofi for his outstanding batting performance was conferred Man of the Match
