Jammu: The security forces on Monday launched an operation after villagers saw a body floating in flooded river waters in Daddal village of Sunderbani near the Line of Control in Rajouri.

 

An official said the that earlier, last week a gunfight had raged in Daddal village, in which two militants killed and two army personnel were martyred.

 

He said that today morning some locals spotted a body floating in the river, following which they informed the security forces.

The official said that the forces later launched an operation to retrieve the body.
