Illegal encroachments on state land removed at Wahdhan Sallar

ANANTNAG, JUNE 27: A team of officials of revenue department led by Tehsildar Pahalgam/Sallar, Dr. Mohammad Hussain Mir Saturday removed illegal encroachments on state land at Wahdhan Sallar.The authorities informed that a Sports Ground with optimum facilities will be developed on the retrieved land.

The local people especially the youth appreciated and thanked the Tehsil Administration for the move and hoped many such pro-people and pro-youth steps will be taken in future.

On the occasion, Tehsildar Sallar assured the youth to develop the playground with modern facilities in near future.

The Tehsildar said that participation of youth in sports and co/extra-curricular activities is the best way to fight drug menace in society. He also pledged to engage the youth of the Tehsil in positive and developmental activities so that their energy is channelized for betterment of society.

Expressing commitment to establish a strong connection between administration and the youth, Dr. Mir said the same would ensure the youth are involved in constructive activities as they are important stakeholders in Participatory Governance.

Meanwhile, the Tehsildar appealed to the people of the Tehsil to remove all illegal encroachments on the state land adding that strict legal action will be taken against the encroachers.
