With 342 New Covid-19 Cases, Jammu and Kashmir Reports Lowest Daily Rise In 3 Months

5 More Deaths Take Overall Toll To 4296, One More Black Fungus Case Confirmed
Srinagar, June 26: Jammu and Kashmir reported 342 fresh covid-19 cases, lowest single-day spike in nearly three months, while five more persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
They said 107 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 235 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 314316.
Regarding deaths, the officials said that four were reported from Jammu Division and one from Kashmir respectively, taking the fatality count 4296.
Providing the district-wide details, they said that Srinagar reported 84 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 23, Pulwama 29, Kupwara 18, Anantnag 24, Bandipora 14, Ganderbal 18, Kulgam 15, Shopian 1, Jammu 11, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 15, Doda 10, Kathua 10, Samba 1, Kishtwar 13, Poonch 14, Ramban 12 and Reasi 19.
Moreover, they said, 864 more COVID-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours—375 from Jammu Division and 489 from Kashmir. 304398 patients have recovered so far, leaving active cases at 5630—2108 in Jammu and 3522 in Kashmir.
One new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) has been reported today, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 29 in J&K.
