New Delhi: India reported 6,148 new deaths in 24 hours, the highest number of casualties in a day. The total tally of fresh Covid positive cases was 94,052.

NDTV reported that so far a total of 2,91,83,121 cases and 3,59,676 deaths, have been reported.

The report said that fresh guidelines for management of COVID-19 in children have been issued by the government.

It has ruled out the use of antiviral drug Remdesivir; it has recommended a ‘6-Minute Walk Test’ on children above 12 to assess “cardio-pulmonary exercise tolerance”.
