Pulwama, June 7: Police and security forces claimed to have recovered an Improvised Explosive Device, weighing about 5-7 kilograms, near Saimu area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said on Monday.
A police officer said that a Bomb Disposal Squad has been rushed to the spot to defuse the device. Lately, police and security forces have detected and defused a number of IED in Tral and other parts of the Valley. Last weekend, an IED was recovered and defused near Chanapora police post here.  (File picture)
