Jammu and Kashmir Reports 4356 Covid-19 Cases, 55 Deaths

Srinagar, May 13: Jammu and Kashmir reported 4356 fresh covid-19 cases while 55 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.
They said that among the fresh cases, 1771 were reported from Jammu division and 2585 from Kashmir, taking the overall case tally to 233763.
Regarding the fresh fatalities, they said, 35 were reported from Jammu division and 20 from Kashmir valley, taking the death toll to 2967.
Moreover, they said, 2995 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—1228 from Jammu Division and 1767 from Kashmir. There are 52848 active cases—18946 in Jammu and 33902 in Kashmir.
Providing district wise details of the cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported 872 cases, Baramulla 228, Budgam 288, Pulwama 262, Kupwara 186, Anantnag 304, Bandipora 118, Ganderbal 92, Kulgam 165, Shopian 70, Jammu 624, Udhampur 282, Rajouri 227, Doda 82, Kathua 157, Samba 107, Kishtwar 80, Poonch 94, Ramban 43 and Reasi 75.
