Srinagar: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Sunday expressed grief and shock over the demise of Dr  Shamim Wani Additional Secretary Finance due to Covid  19.

“We still cannot believe that Dr Shamim died so unex- pectedly. He was such a wonderful person and a great of- ficer and an asset to J&K . He was respected widely by  business fraternity because of his noble character and dy- namism. He was known for his dedicated and selfless ser- vice. His loss will be badly felt,” KCC&I said in a press statement.

The fraternity, they said, prays for the departed soul and expresses sympathies are with family of the berieved.
