New Delhi: India has registered fresh 3.86 lakh new cases of novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours ending 8 am on Friday.

The new cases took the case load tally to over 1.87 crore. Out of the total cases, over 31 lakh cases are currently active while over 1.53 crore people have recovered after testing positive. The death toll, with 3,498 new demises, surged to 2.08 lakh.

Delhi, capital of India on Thursday recorded 395 deaths due to coronavirus, the highest since the pandemic began a year ago, and 24,235 cases with a positivity rate of 32.82 per cent, according to a bulletin issued by the city health department, as quoted by IndianExpress.com
