Srinagar, April 08: An gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police, Army’s 44RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Jan Mohalla in main town.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired which was retaliated, triggering off a gunfight.
