Srinagar, April 02: Three militant were killed in a gunfight at Kakapora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Kakapora.
As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, triggering off an gunfight.
“Three unidentified militants have been killed. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition was recovered. Searches are going on. Further details shall follow,” police said.
