Srinagar, Mar 13: Two police personnel suffered minor injuries in a grenade blast on Police post near Bus Stand in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

Official sources said that militants hurled grenade at Police Post at Bus stand. In this incident, two police personnel —Mohammad Afzal (SPO) and Azad Ahmad (Constable)— received minor injuries and were shifted to nearby health facility.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sopore, Javaid Iqbal said  one of the injured was immediately discharged after first aid while another also has minor injuries. He said that a case has been registered and investigations have been set into motion.

Meanwhile, sources said, entire area was cordoned off immediately to nab the fleeing militants, they said. m
