CRPF trooper injured as militants carry two attacks in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 17: A paramilitary Central Reserve Police personnel was injured as militants carried out two attacks in Anantnag and Pulwama districts of south Kashmir on Thursday.
Official sources said that militants lobbed Grenade on joint part of CRPF and police at Bhijbhera near district hospital in Anantnag in which one CRPF man received splinter injuries.
He has been identified as Patil Padmamakar of 40BN CRPF and was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers
Later Suspected militants fired upon joint team of police and paramilitary forces in Kadibal area of Awantipora in Pulwama district.
A senior police officer said there was no loss of life or injury in the incident.
