rinagar, Nov 26: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Thursday termed as false the reports that it was among the beneficiaries of Roshni scheme. “We have been allotted land on lease vide Government order No.REV(NDK)203 of 2000 Dated: 24-11-2000 and subsequently we are paying rent under the allotment,” said a spokesperson of  the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry stated that. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry being registered under Companies Act and could have never got  the settlement done under Roshni Act, he said. “Now today some daily Newspapers have carried the news  of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the beneficiaries  under Roshni Act which is completely false,” it added.
