Bank Cash Van Attacked In Shopian, Rs 60-80 Lakh Looted

Srinagar, Nov 5: Unknown gunmen on Thursday looted cash from a cash van near Tak Mohallah near main branch of Jammu and Kashmir bank at Shopian in south Kashmir, officials said.
A senior police officer said that at least four gunmen attacked the van and decamped with cash which is said to be around Rs 60-80 lakhs even as official confirmation as to the total amount looted is awaited. A police officer said that a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers and recover the looted cash.
