Srinagar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning National Conference president and parliamentarian Farooq Abdullah in connection with the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association scam.
Reports said the former chief minister was being questioned at the ED office in Srinagar.
The J&K Cricket Association scam concerns alleged misappropriation of Rs 43 crores and Farooq had been questioned by ED in 2019 as well ahead of the abrogation of Article 370 on 5 August last year, when most politicians in the Kashmir Valley were detained along with thousands of people amid security clampdown which even saw snapping landline phones along with mobile connectivity and internet.
