Srinagar, Oct 15: Unknown gunmen on Thursday evening fired upon a former militant at Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that the unknown gunmen fired upon former militant namely Tanveer Sofi at Kakapora near J&K Bank, resulting in serious injury to him. He was immediately removed to Srinagar hospital for treatment. Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off, they said.
