Srinagar: To finalise the modalities for Buyer-Seller meet, the Director Horticulture Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today chaired a meeting of CA Store owners as well as Chief Horticulture Officers here.
The meet is scheduled to be organised on the pattern of Sunday market to popularize the consumption of local fruits.
After threadbare discussion, it was decided that initially ten stalls shall be established as a beginning for display and sale of fruits.
The Director on the occasion directed the Horticulture Information & Publication Officer to give wide publicity to the event so that maximum numbers of persons participate in the event. The event shall create awareness among the public for consumption of fruit to help boost the immune system.
