Downtown Heroes FC Selection Trials On September 13, 14

Srinagar: The selection trials of Downtown Heroes Football Club would be held on September 13 and 14 at Islamia College Ground Hawal Srinagar. After getting permission to hold trials at the venue, the club would be holding open selection trials on September 13 and 14 from 6:30 AM to 11 AM. The trials would be held by expert selectors lead by coaching panel of the club. For the selection process J&K Football Association has deputed its referees and on the inaugural day some officials of JKFA are also expected to be present as guests. The club is based in Old City of Srinagar and draws its name from there. It has been established by a group of football loving persons with the aim to step into I-League in future. The club aims to provide top class facilities to its members and want to give every aspiring footballer fair chance to book place in the team. “Since we announced that we are going to conduct open selection trials, the club office has received numerous calls.”
