Soldier injured as militants attack army vehicle in Baramulla

Srinagar, Aug 12: An army was injured in a militant attack in Hygam area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Official sources said that the militants attacked an army vehicle from an orchard near Hygam.
A soldier of army’s 15 Garwal was injured and was evacuated to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. when this report was filed, no arrests were made, suggesting militants managed to escape.
