490 new covid-19 cases reported, tally crosses 12000 mark in J&K

Srinagar, July 16: Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 490 new covid-19 infections, taking the overall tally past 12000 mark.
Officials said that 62 cases were reported from Jammu and 428 from Kashmir Valley even as 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals.
Giving district-wise details, official sources said Srinagar reported 259 cases, Baramulla 18, Kulgam 21, Shopian 42, Anantnag 6, Kupwara 3, Pulwama 32, Budgam 34, Bandipora 2 and Ganderbal 11
Similarly, they said, Jammu reported 14 new infections, Udhampur 3, Kathua 2, Rajouri 33, Samba 8 and
Doda 2.
