3 injured in wild bear attack in Tral

Tral: Three persons including a woman were grievously injured in a wild bear attack in Shareefabad-Arigam area of Tral sub district on Monday, official sources said.
They said that two among them have been referred to Srinagar’s SMHS & B&J hospital for specialized treatment.
However, the condition of injured persons is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, an official of the wildlife said that they have deputed the teams to Shareefabad area and every effort is being taken to tranquilize the wild bear.
“Two teams have been deputed to the area and we are trying our best to tranquilize the wild bear,” he said.
