Biodiversity park to be set up at Dagpora Ganderbal

Ganderbal : J&K Forest Department is establishing a Biodiversity Conservation Park under CAMPA at Dagpora Harran area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The site is adjacent to catchment areas of Anchar lake and Sindh river. Sindh forest division Ganderbal of Srinagar Forest Circle is the
implementing agency for establishment of the park which will be set up at the cost of RS 5.67 Crores over a period of 4-years (Phase-I) starting from 2018-19 to 2021-22 with 2018-19 as zero year. Sindh Forest Division has completed work on 7000 Rft Chain link fencing, and Flake stone pathway while the remaining work on 65 metres Ornamental fencing will be completed in due course of time. Amount of RS 45 Lakh have been spent up to 31st March,2020.
