Family members of missing PhD scholar who went missing on June 14 this year during trekking to Gangabal area on Friday staged a protest, demanding his whereabouts.
“We don’t request or appeal but we beg them, with whom he is, to return our brother. He was a gold medalist and a responsible fellow,” sister of the missing flanked by family members told reporters here. “He has not joined militancy and these are the only accusations against him,” she said.  On June 23, Inspector General Of Police Vijay Kumar said that Hilal has joined militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.
