125 More Test Positive For Covid-19 In J&K, Tally Now At 5680

Srinagar: 125 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, taking the overall tally of the cases to 5680 in J&K.
Among the cases, sources said, 31 were reported Srinagar followed by Pulwama (18), Kulgam (11), Baramulla (10), eight each in Anantnag and Jammu, seven each in Shopian, Bandipora, Kathua and Kupwara, Samba (4), two from Budgam and Udhampur while one each were reported from Ganderbal,
Poonch and Rajouri.
Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at SKIMS said that out of the 3126
Samples processed at the viral diagnostic lab today, 62 returned positive for the virus.
Professor Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura, said 17 are from Pulwama, 12 from Kulgam, eight from Anantnag, seven from Shopian, six each from Srinagar and Bandipora, three from Baramulla and one each from Budgam, Ganderbal and Kupwara.
The 17 cases from Pulwama include male (17) from Kamrazipora, four females (61, 40, 17, 28) and male (29) from Rahmoo, Male (32) from Bellow, Male (26) from Kachipora, four males (33, 36, 29, 35) from DPL Pulwama, Male (55) from Wuyan Pampore, female (35) from Khrew Pampore , female (38) from Baghishaloor Pampore and two females (32, 03) from Tral E Payeen.
The 12 cases from Kulgam include Male (17) from Ringth, two Males (30, 58) from Yarikah, Male (75) from Khull , female (29) from Jaibal , two males (24, 61) from Lagapora , two males (40, 48) from Boh, Male (37) from 2RR Kulgam and two males ( 22, 32) from Awhatoo.
The eight cases from Anantnag include two females (59, 21) from Cheeni Chowk , female (60) from Krangsoo , female (50) from Sarnal , two males (24, 05) from Hiller Anantnag, Male (45) from Fremoo and Male (28) from Panchalthan.
The cases from Bandipora include Male (28) from Ward 2, Male (21) from onagam, Male (40) from Mantrigam , Male (08) and female (31) from Ward 6 and Male (38) from Baduagam.
The Shopian cases include Male (35) from Kanipora , Male (28) from Therin, female (17) from Reshipora , two males (33, 28) from Sedow and Male (37) from Awanira. The cases from Srinagar include female (27) from Rangpora , Male ( 50) from Bemina , Male (60) from Buchpora , female (46) from Natipora and female (40) from Shivpora while case Budgam is a female (55) from Chadoora Budgam and Ganderbal: female (60) from Bamabloora. The Kupwara case is female (50) from Handwara while those from Baramulla include Male (50) from Khawajabagh, female (26) from Nambla Uri Baramulla and Male (29) from Mamoosa Pattan.
Dr Riyaz Untoo, Principal SKIMS Bemina, said that out of 431 samples processed at the hospital’s lab, six tested positive for COVID-19, all from Srinagar— male (9) from Budshah Nagar, male (50) from Rainawari, Male (40) from Jawhar Nagar, male 5) from Alochibagh, male (43) from Nishat and emale (30) from Gagribal.
Sources said that at least 33 people tested positive for the virus at CD laboratory and included three pregnant women and nine soldiers from army’s B B Cant Srinagar.
The cases are from Khanpora: female (23); Gagal Lolab: female (24, pregnant); Awoora: female (28); Gushi: female (25); Kalantra Baramulla: Male (40); Naji Bhat Wagoora: female (35, pregnant), Kellar Shopian: Male (60); Baramulla: Male (57), Gundaripora: female (49), Waniloo: female (45); Andergam Pattan: female (31); Kachloo Langate: Male (55); Mandigam: 04 males (30, 30, 31, 23); Bemina Srinagar: Male (NA); Hyderpora: Male (30); Goripora Srinagar: 02 female (45, 35) and male (27), Barzulla Baghat: Male (30), Sadipora Srinagar: female (70); Chatabal Srinagar: female (32, pregnant); B B Cant, 92 Base Hospital Srinagar: 09 males (43, 31, 47, 32, 24, 33, 38, 42 and 58).
