Srinagar: A 3-year-old boy drowned in river Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Reports said the boy, Irfan Ahamad Khatana Son of Showkat Ahmad Khatana, slipped and drowned in the water body near hometown— Phalnad Wangath in Kangan.
Police was informed immediately and a search operation was launched to retrieve the body, reports said. Later the body was found and handed over to the kin for last rites.
