Naveen chairs meeting of Committee constituted to accelerate recruitment process in J&K

Jammu: Principal Secretary Agriculture and Horticulture Department, Naveen Choudhary, today chaired a meeting of the recently constituted Committee to accelerate recruitment process besides ensuring certain principles of transparency and inclusiveness in the recruitment procedures.
The committee discussed set of broad perspectives for speeding up the recruitment process especially for the class fourth vacancies which will be submitted to competent authorities for approval.
Secretary, GAD, Farooq Ahmed Lone, Secretary Labour and Employment, Sourav Bhagat, Secretary Law, Achal Sethi were also present in the meeting.
While deliberating on the matter, the Committee directed the concerned authorities to identify and monitor that the vacancies are filled up on immediate basis adding that the General Administration Department will obtain all the issues in this regard and get those sorted out with the concurrence of Finance Department.
The Committee also discussed issues regarding strengthening of infrastructure in Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) for which necessary decisions were taken in the meeting.
