Cop Killed as militants attack police party in Kulgam

Srinagar: Militants on Saturday killed a policeman in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources said the militants attacked a Naka party at Frisal Chowk Kulgam, resulting in serious injuries to a policeman, Mohammad Amin Bagad of Sangarwani Pulwama. The policeman, a head constable, was shifted to hospital. However he was declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors at the hospital, they said.
BMO Quimoh Abdul Gani said that policeman had bullet injury on head and was declared brought dead on arrival. A police officer confirmed the incident and said that investigations have been launched.
