Nearly 10000 Complete 28-Day Surveillance In J&K: Govt

Srinagar: Nearly 10000 people have completed 28-day surveillance while the government on Friday said 46158 persons in contact with suspected COVID-19 cases have been enlisted for observation in the J&K.
As per the daily media bulletin on novel coronavirus, 7726 persons have been kept under home quarantine (including facilities operated by Government) while as 415 are in hospital quarantine while 197 persons have been kept in hospital isolation.
Persons who are under home surveillance stand at 27891 while 9925 persons have completed their 28-day surveillance period.
It said that 2961 samples have been sent for testing of which 2754 tested as negative as on 1700 hours today. 207 people have tested positive and of them, 197 are active cases—39 from Jammu division and 168 from Kashmir.
