One more test positive, J&K Covid-19 tally now at 49

Srinagar: The number of covid-19 cases rose to 49 in Jammu and Kashmir as 11 more persons have tested positive for the disease on Monday, government said.
“Just Now: Another positive case reported by SKIMS Soura. Total 49,” government spokesman Rohit Kansal tweeted.
A government official revealed that 11 positive cases were reported today—8 in Kashmir and 3 in Jammu.
He said 355 persons are under hospital isolation and hospital quarantine.
Besides, he said, 722 samples have been sent for testing of which 659 tested as negative. While 15 reports are awaited, 49 people have tested positive and among them two have recovered and as many others have died.
